Our picture perfect wine barrel is a 15 minute drive from Blenheim, only 10 minutes from the airport and has all you need for a comfortable stay.
 
Riroriro is the Maori word for a grey warbler. They are a small grey-brown bird weighing only around 6.5g, they are shy and are often heard more than seen but like the native plants along our stream.
 
The stunning view from this barrel extends down to our stream, the vineyards and hills beyond to the beautiful Richmond Ranges. This is where you might spot a Riroriro. There’s no better spot to sit back and enjoy the Marlborough sunset.

It has a double bed, a wardrobe and a comfy living area with sofa, dining table, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a toaster. There is a shared fridge to keep your wine and snacks cool. There are no cooking facilities.

There is a fan and a heater for warmer and cooler nights. There is a private, hot outdoor shower by the barrel under the trees, this is available during the warmer months. You have access to a modern indoor bathroom and shower if you prefer. It is located at the back of our house and approx. 25m away from our Piwakawaka Barrel and is a shared space only between the two barrels.
